Secretary
Harris County Firefighters Association

A 9-1-1 board member since its inception in 1983, Mr. Anders worked prior to that with Commissioner Bass and Harris County area fire departments to promote the acceptance of 9-1-1 legislation and the public

Also, he was employed with Southwestern Bell as a frame man and chief switchman, and with Harris County Fire Marshal's office as an arson investigator and assistant county fire marshal.

He retired from Harris County in Dec.2008, after 33 years in law enforcement.
